A fire that broke out today in the municipality of Almeirim was being fought by 156 personnel with the help of five aerial assets and 46 vehicles at around 15:30, a Civil Protection source told Lusa.

A man, aged around 50, was arrested by colleagues and handed over to the Judiciary Police. Victims have been hospitalised.
