Flows are approaching 3,000 cubic metres, a level which, says Civil Protection, 'sets off the alerts' due to rain forecast for the next few days.

The Civil Protection of Médio Tejo, in the Santarém district, warned today that rising flows of the Tagus at Almourol keep a yellow alert for flooding in the region and advises the public to take precautions.
