The municipality of Condeixa-a-Nova, in the district of Coimbra, announced today that the return to school will take place on Monday across the entire municipality.
The government declared a state of calamity, which was extended on Sunday, following a meeting of the Council of Ministers, until 8 February.
Across the municipality, 158 incidents were recorded, of which 44 have already been resolved; no human casualties were reported.
The municipal authorities in Condeixa-a-Nova have activated the Municipal Emergency Plan.
Civil Protection is on special readiness at level 4, the highest, along the entire coastline between Viana do Castelo and Setúbal.
