TAP: Government assures that privatisation and new airport are moving at "cruising speed"
The Minister of Infrastructure stated that the privatisation of TAP and the new Lisbon airport project are progressing steadily without issues. Miguel Pinto Luz reaffirmed the commitment to the Alcochete location, dismissing opposition concerns regarding costs and stating that no state budget funds will be used for the new airport. He also highlighted ongoing investments at Porto's Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport and noted that major airline groups have expressed interest in the TAP privatisation process.
