'It was a wooden vessel, like a boat or canoe, carrying three adult men. At some point, it capsized; two of them managed to get out and reach the shore with minor injuries. The third occupant is missing in the river,' explained the deputy commander of the Resende Volunteer Fire Department to the Lusa agency. The same source added that all three men are over 40 years old. Twelve personnel, including divers, and six vehicles were deployed to the scene.
