In the former prison of São Pedro do Sul, confinement has given way to a daily routine of reading, meetings, and chess games. A chronicle by João da Silva.

The São Pedro do Sul City Council will rehabilitate the Jaime Gralheiro Cineteatro, a centenary building showing signs of degradation and water leaks.
The venue will have “better conditions, improved access for materials and equipment, new dressing rooms, an expanded backstage area, and the creation of a multi-purpose space.”

For a long time now, thermal spas have ceased to be sought after only by seniors. Medicinal waters are also being used for preventative purposes or simply to recharge energy.

The former primary school of Covas do Monte is now a restaurant run by local residents. Today, “What Moves Me Inside” takes us to this village in São Pedro do Sul, nestled in the Serra de São Macário, known for its schist landscape and its flocks.
