The Portuguese MotoGP Grand Prix, originally scheduled for November 15 at the Algarve International Circuit in Portimão, has been postponed by one week and will now take place from November 20 to 22. This calendar change follows the rescheduling of the Qatar Grand Prix due to geopolitical instability in the Middle East linked to the conflict involving Iran. The race at the Lusail circuit in Qatar, initially set for April 10-12, was moved to November 6-8, forcing a reorganization of the season's final stages. MotoGP CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta stated that the decision prioritizes the safety of all participants, with support from the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM), led by Jorge Viegas. The season will conclude with the final races in Portugal and Valencia, where the world champion will be decided.
