Motorist who died in Avis suspected of killing woman in Castelo de Vide

A 42-year-old man who died this Saturday, March 28, in a road accident in the municipality of Avis, Portalegre district, is the suspect in the murder of his 28-year-old ex-partner in Castelo de Vide, a judicial source revealed. The man died after his car went off the road on the EN243. Earlier, authorities had been alerted to the murder of the woman at her home in Castelo de Vide. The Judicial Police (PJ) confirmed the case is being investigated as a homicide in the context of domestic violence.
