Esperam-se também ondas que podem atingir 11 metros, especialmente na costa. O Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera (IPMA) indica que, embora haja aguaceiros e possibilidade de granizo, não se esperam efeitos significativos no continente. A depressão, que se origina do norte de África, deverá isolar-se e afetar mais intensamente a região Sul e o arquipélago da Madeira, onde a neve é esperada acima dos 1.500 metros.
