Worker dies in a weaving factory in Braga
A 52-year-old female worker at a weaving factory in Braga died this Wednesday, October 21, following a workplace accident, according to the Civil Protection. A source from the Cávado regional sub-command explained to the Lusa agency that the victim was working at a spinning factory in Celeirós, Braga, when she became “trapped in a machine,” with the circumstances of the accident currently under investigation. The alert was raised at 09:00, and the scene was attended by firefighters from the Braga Sappers and Volunteers, the Medical Emergency and Resuscitation Vehicle (VMER) of Braga, GNR military personnel, and a team of psychologists.
