Health Convention asks Executive Board to ensure financial resources for units to maintain care
The National Health Convention, representing 150 institutions and over 60 patient associations, has issued an urgent statement warning that budget cuts are leading to delayed diagnoses and treatments within the National Health Service (SNS). Citing data showing over 1.3 million patients on waiting lists, the group urges the Executive Board to guarantee the necessary administrative and financial means to maintain essential care, warning that further cuts will worsen patient outcomes and threaten the sustainability of the system.
