Transparency International defends Court of Audit oversight

Transparency International Portugal is the national chapter of the global anti-corruption NGO Transparency International that monitors and reports on corruption issues in Portugal. It recently warned that prior oversight by the Court of Audits exists to prevent abuses, responding to a government plan to review the court's governing law, which could affect public-procurement and accountability mechanisms.
