The president of Porto City Council, Pedro Duarte, joined António José Seguro at a campaign event in Porto, formalising his support for the second round of the presidential election. The social-democrat mayor, who had backed Luís Marques Mendes in the first round, now says that with Seguro's election “the country will be in very good hands”.
