The dates for the Capítulo Perfeito surfing event, an international competition dedicated to tube riding that will take place in three locations in 2026, with Mozambique and Indonesia joining Carcavelos in Cascais, have been changed, the organization announced today.
The 2026 Allianz Figueira Pro marks the official start of the MEO Surf League, the premier national circuit, with Cabedelo Beach in Figueira da Foz hosting the first stage of the season from April 2nd to 4th. This edition features five events throughout the year, also visiting Porto, Ericeira, Ribeira Grande, and Peniche. As the traditional opening venue, Cabedelo gathers many of the country's top surfers for a season start that is strategically important for the rankings. The event also includes the Allianz Triple Crown, environmental initiatives, and the 'Better Portugal' workshop for tourism operators.

The 2026 edition, which returns to the original points-based format, is marked by a wave of returns from surfing icons.
