The construction of the Freedom Memorial is progressing in Oeiras to become a meeting point and a place for reflection on the fight against the dictatorship and the 25th of April. The space will feature a tile panel in honour of the political prisoners of Caxias Prison, created by the painter Graça Morais.

The memorial 'Windows of Freedom', a public art intervention by artist Irene Buarque evoking the life and work of architect Nuno Teotónio Pereira (1922–2016), will be inaugurated on Friday in Lisbon, Galeria Ratton announced today.
