Last year, this annual initiative raised over two million euros to support approximately 25,000 people, according to the organisation. This year, the drive, themed 'Whoever helps, helps a lot', will involve 21,600 volunteers stationed in public areas such as shopping centres and churches until Sunday, November 1st.
