A 51-year-old man died this Monday afternoon, April 27, in the municipality of Coimbra following a crane collapse, a source from the Coimbra Sub-Regional Command for Emergency and Civil Protection told the Lusa agency. According to the same source, the alert for the crane collapse on Rua das Chaves, in Eiras, on the outskirts of Coimbra, was raised around 14:00. In addition to the fatality, whose death was confirmed at the scene by a Medical Emergency and Resuscitation Vehicle (VMER) team, there is also one seriously injured person, aged 28.
