Environmental Fund provides €50 million for 'highly urgent' works related to storms

The Portuguese Environment Agency (APA) has identified over 200 million euros in damages to riverside infrastructure across the country, caused by the succession of storms and floods this winter. On Tuesday, the Minister of Environment announced approximately 5 million euros in investments specifically for the municipalities of Alcácer do Sal and Mértola.
