Emergency teams battle wildfires across multiple regions

More than 200 personnel are currently fighting a wildfire in Mouriscas, within the Abrantes municipality, which began Saturday afternoon with two active fronts. While authorities describe the situation as complicated and out of control, no homes are currently at risk. Additional fires are also being managed in other regions, including Santa Marta de Penaguião and Celorico de Basto.
