Long queues form for Porto's free transport card

Over a hundred people, primarily elderly residents and immigrants, faced hours-long waits at the Porto Municipal Office on Monday to apply for the 'Porto Card'. The card provides free access to public transport, a measure welcomed by residents but currently causing logistical bottlenecks. Officials noted that many applicants were unaware that the process can be completed online or at ten other locations throughout the city.
