A 4.6 magnitude earthquake struck the Azores on Sunday, with its epicenter near Santo Antão on the island of São Jorge. The tremor, recorded by the Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera or IPMA), caused a landslide that briefly obstructed access to Fajã dos Cubres, though no injuries were reported.
Update: Vehicle transport between Trafaria and Belém resumed
The Transtejo Soflusa (Transtejo-Soflusa or TTSL) operator announced that vehicle transport on the river connection between Trafaria and Belém will resume this Monday. The service was suspended for over a month due to repairs on the ferry Lisbonense.
