The road connecting the village of Chão Sobral to the neighbouring areas of Parente and Tapadas, in the parish of Aldeia das Dez, Oliveira do Hospital, is closed to traffic following a collapse caused by severe weather. The municipality of Oliveira do Hospital recorded over twenty incidents between Wednesday morning and early afternoon, including landslides and road damage. No injuries or displacements were reported, and municipal teams, firefighters, and the GNR are working to restore access. Mayor José Francisco Rolo highlighted the need for more resources to manage the recurring weather-related risks affecting the region.
