Investment from the European Investment Bank (EIB) in Portugal increased by 43% last year, reaching three billion euros, reflecting support for housing and school reconstruction, as well as financing for the high-speed rail line. This amount is expected to mobilise around 12 billion euros in investments, approximately 4% of GDP.
