The French group L'Oréal reported revenue of 12.152 billion euros for the first quarter of 2026, a 3.6% year-on-year increase. Excluding currency fluctuations and changes in the company's accounting perimeter, comparable sales rose by 7.6%. Growth was recorded across most regions, with Europe up 11.5%, while North Asia saw a 9% decline. CEO Nicolas Hieronimus expressed optimism for the global beauty market, noting that consumers continue to prioritise beauty products despite economic uncertainties. Additionally, L'Oréal has appointed Ana Jaureguizar as the new president for Portugal and Spain.
