The Mayor of Almada felt that the municipality was sidelined despite having the highest number of displaced people due to the effects of the storms. Regarding national politics, she criticises the “neoliberal policy” followed by the Government in public services and proposes a solution: tax policy must be used to penalise those who attack public services.
