The Portuguese Environment Agency (APA) began replenishing the beaches of Caparica with sand this Thursday, following a six-month pause due to weather conditions. In total, the joint operation by the APA and the Lisbon Port Authority (APL), expected to last 60 days, will cost nine million euros.
