The Government is expected to approve a 10-cent reduction in agricultural diesel for forestry producers and fishermen this week, in response to rising fuel prices caused by the conflict involving Israel and Iran, the Minister of Agriculture announced today. José Manuel Fernandes stated that the measure will be discussed at Friday's Council of Ministers meeting, with the goal of lowering costs by 10 cents whenever price increases exceed that amount. The Minister also noted that the government is working on support formulas for fertilizer costs, depending on the duration and impact of the conflict.
