The Casa para Viver platform is delivering an open letter to the President of the Republic at the Belém Palace, calling for the housing crisis to be treated as a national emergency. The movement, which represents dozens of associations, is demanding rent regulation, mortgage relief, longer lease terms, and a presidential veto on legislation that would accelerate evictions. These actions precede nationwide protests scheduled for March 21st in 14 cities to demand solutions to the housing crisis.
