Between January and March, electricity consumption in Portugal reached its highest level ever for a first quarter, recording a peak of 14.6 Terawatt-hours (TWh), according to a statement from REN – Redes Energéticas Nacionais. The figure was 3.8% higher (or 3.9% when adjusted for temperature effects and other factors).
