Carneiro warns Government regarding Constitutional Court election: "You will hear a 'no' if you distort the democratic balance"
At the opening of the 25th PS National Congress, José Luís Carneiro asserted the party's unity and responsibility, while criticising the Government's response to the cost-of-living crisis. He announced new economic proposals and issued a stern warning to Prime Minister Luís Montenegro, stating that the Socialist Party will firmly oppose any attempts to undermine the balance of the Constitutional Court or democratic institutions.
