Government submits proposal for personal income tax reduction

The government has officially submitted a draft law to Parliament to reduce personal income tax (Imposto sobre o Rendimento das Pessoas Singulares or IRS) for the first six tax brackets. The Ministry of Finance expects this relief to provide savings of up to 171 euros per year for some taxpayers.
