A delegation from the General Workers' Union (União Geral de Trabalhadores or UGT), led by Mário Mourão, will attend the parliamentary debate on the government's labour legislation revision. The union is calling for balanced legislation, while other groups like the General Confederation of the Portuguese Workers (Confederação Geral dos Trabalhadores Portugueses or CGTP) have organized street protests.
