Chronic disease prevalence rises sharply among younger population

New research from the Nova School of Business and Economics indicates that chronic disease prevalence in Portugal is rising, particularly among younger age groups. The study highlights that economic hardship is a significant factor, with the probability of chronic illness for those with lower financial means nearly doubling over the last eight years.
