Mota-Engil has signed a 113 million euro contract in Brazil with Petrobras to provide engineering services for subsea oil production systems, according to a statement sent to the CMVM. The contract, reported to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM), has an estimated duration of 1,825 days and includes the integrated execution of decommissioning activities involving approximately 305 kilometres of subsea lines and the removal of subsea equipment and anchoring systems abandoned on the seabed. “With the award of this contract, Mota-Engil Brazil strengthens its strategic positioning in the growing offshore decommissioning market, once again demonstrating its technical, operational, and management capacity to execute complex projects in deep waters,” the statement reads.
