A recreational vessel sank in the Douro River, specifically in the Barrô area of the Resende municipality, in the Tâmega e Sousa region, reports SIC Notícias. 'It was a wooden vessel, like a boat or canoe, carrying three adult men. At some point, it capsized; two of them managed to get out and reach the shore with minor injuries. The third occupant is missing in the river,' explained the deputy commander of the Resende Volunteer Fire Department to the Lusa agency.
