The Royal Building of Mafra - the correct name for the structure often known simply as the Mafra National Palace - has two projects underway as part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR). One is dedicated to the conservation and restoration of the basilica and library of the Mafra National Palace, and the other aims at the conservation and rehabilitation of the exterior surroundings and cloisters of the Mafra National Palace. Both began in February 2025 and are scheduled for completion in July of this year.
