Artificial intelligence is revolutionising our lives, and it is also being applied in medicine. In Braga, at a private hospital, surgeries are now being performed with a state-of-the-art robot that integrates artificial intelligence. We spoke with the first patient to be operated on using this technology. We also explore the future, where it will be possible, for example, for a patient in Portugal to be operated on by a surgeon located abroad.
