During a press conference presenting measures to address the energy crisis caused by the war in Iran—initiated by US and Israeli strikes—Jørgensen noted that aviation is the sector under the most pressure due to obstacles in kerosene supply. Brussels is considering potential actions should there be a shortage of aviation fuel in the EU.
