Lisbon City Council has inaugurated the Condes de Carnide Navegante Park, the seventh free car park for public transport pass holders between 7:30 am and 9:00 pm. Mayor Carlos Moedas stated that this initiative aims to encourage the transition from private to public transport. The new facility, located near the Carnide and Colégio Militar metro stations, offers 387 parking spaces, including electric vehicle charging points. The council plans to open three more such parks in the near future to further reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality in the city.
