The automotive market in Portugal grew 8.8% in the first quarter of 2026 compared to the same period last year, with a total of 73,753 new vehicles registered, according to data from the Portuguese Automobile Association (ACAP). In March, 30,303 new registrations were recorded, representing a 9.1% increase compared to the same month of the previous year.
