The Portuguese Federation of Construction, Ceramics and Glass Unions has urged workers to join the demonstration called by the CGTP-IN on April 17 to protest against the labour package. The strike will last from 00:00 to 23:59 on April 17, with provisions for shifts spanning across the day. CGTP Secretary-General Tiago Oliveira stated that the proposed labour legislation revision represents a 'deep setback for all workers' and called for a collective effort to ensure the demonstration is a significant moment of protest.
