Court of Auditors finds insurance regulator collected more revenue than necessary

The insurance regulator accumulated €44 million in cash surpluses after 2023 by charging revenues 'unnecessary for the purposes of its mission', which have been used to 'finance the State', the Court of Auditors concludes.
