The interest rate on mortgage contracts saw its first increase since January 2024, reaching 3.088% in March, reflecting a rise of 0.9 basis points (b.p.) compared to February, according to data released this Tuesday by the National Statistics Institute (INE). This development marks a reversal of the downward trend recorded at the beginning of the year.
