The Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) has paid out 11.822 billion euros to beneficiaries as of Friday, an increase of 122 million euros from the previous week. This total represents 53% of the contracted value and 54% of the approved amount. Meanwhile, MEP Siegfried Mureşan noted that Portugal is one of only two European countries, alongside Italy, to have received eight payments under the PRR, highlighting the successful implementation of agreed reforms. Discussions are underway to address project delays caused by extreme weather, with plans to propose a revision to the PRR to ensure no funds are lost.
