Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira (BMW) finished on the third step of the podium this Saturday, March 28, in the first of two races of the Portuguese round of the Superbike World Championship, taking place this weekend in the Algarve. Oliveira, who started from fourth place, finished about four seconds behind the winner, Italian Nicolò Bulega (Ducati), who beat his teammate, Spaniard Iker Lecuona (Ducati), by about two seconds. On Sunday, the superpole race and the second race of the weekend will take place as part of this second round of the 12 that make up the season.
