The French sports footwear company Advanced Shoe Factory (ASF 4.0) is preparing to open a new factory in Barcelos later this year. The project will create up to 580 jobs. The new industrial unit is under construction in the parish of Silveiros, next to the National Road 204, where the multinational Gabor is already established.
