Portuguese athlete Agate Sousa won the gold medal in the long jump at the World Indoor Athletics Championships this Sunday, March 22, in Torun, Poland. The 25-year-old Benfica athlete secured the win with a 6.92-meter jump on her fifth attempt, becoming the second Portuguese medalist in the event after national record holder Naide Gomes. This marks Portugal's 18th medal at the World Indoor Championships and its sixth gold.
