The Portuguese Association of Distribution Companies (APED) is asking the Government to adjust fuel taxation to protect consumer confidence in the economy, the entity's director-general stated in an interview with Lusa. Gonçalo Lobo Xavier recalls that at the end of February, the National Statistics Institute (INE) had already reported a drop in confidence.
