In October last year, EMEL ordered the closure of three Gira stations in the Ameixoeira area and in the Alta de Lisboa. Until then, breakdowns, repairs and complaints to the PSP had been recurring, prompting the company to a “reassessment” of how to continue the service in the parish of Santa Clara.
