Mainland Portugal recorded 1,220 incidents related to bad weather between midnight and 11:00pm on Friday, mostly in the Centre region and in Lisbon and the Tagus Valley, a Civil Protection source told Lusa.
More than 1,400 incidents related to adverse weather were recorded today in mainland Portugal up to 6pm, mainly affecting the Porto Metropolitan Area, Coimbra and the Oeste region, the Civil Protection service said.
As of 09:00, more than 80 incidents have been reported as a result of the bad weather.
The North and Centre regions were the most affected, each with 50 incidents.
